Community was previously associated with Carolina Shores Golf Club. Carolina Shores is a community of approximately 1200 properties, with nearly 1,000 completed and occupied homes. The population is a mixture of retirees and younger families. Carolina Shores is a part of the town of Carolina Shores, North Carolina, located in the southeastern-most corner of the state, just north of Myrtle Beach and minutes from several of the most beautiful Atlantic coast beaches in the eastern United States. Development of the Carolina Shores community began in 1973 and is still underway today.
